BFA Show and Senior Project: The Wrap-Up

Last night was my BFA Exhibition opening, and I was excited to see so many people come out to see everyone's work!

Some of the Illustration students set up a "living room" area to showcase our books, books covers, and designed pillows. You can see my work on the right in those tiny frames!

The Design Center juniors — who also happen to be some of my favorite people — who worked so hard on the graphic design for the show! They're posing in front of one of their banners.

Me and Rosie, who did a beautiful job of designing fabric patterns for a set of three pillows (and was thankful I happened to have a sewing machine on campus that made her life much easier!)

Look at that turnout!

The BFA Exhibition showcases the work that the senior art students have done for our senior projects. I completed a set of five book covers for classic children's novels, completely digitally, that employed illustrative type:

It was a great experience and a fun night, and I can't believe that I'll be graduating (and giving the commencement student speech!) in only a week! I'm going to miss these people quite a bit.
